26-11-2025. It is a sad day for the European Union and democracy, ‘ChatControl’ has been accepted by member states. It is not yet implemented but will be most probably soon. That means there is no private communication anymore, everything you say in a private messaging software is read by police and political powers. It will, of course, be abused in no time. And every ‘common’ messaging software will be forced to implement that, not by law (as it is not mandatory per this version of ‘ChatControl’), but by other means.

If you want to keep some privacy with your private messages, I can recommend the following things:

Given the radical change in American geopolitics (threats of invading parts of the EU) the United States of America is now an hostile country. Any data or services managed by an American company, even if the data is hosted in Europe, could be stolen, manipulated, used against you for blackmail, or any other function against your interests.

It's always been a bad idea to be so dependent on American companies. But today, it has become an existancial menace.

Alternatives to American services, goods and companies:
I am interested in research work on offensive cybersecurity or work related to QubesOS or Xen.

Also, due to the radical changes in geopolitics since early 2025, if my skills could be useful at the European or French level in the weapons/military sector, I could be interested too.
